What is MAN vs MUD?
MAN vs MUD has been voted as Utah's Best Mud Run. With an awesome
course and tons of obstacles, you're going to love it. Click

Is it just for men?
Of course not, that wouldn't be any fun. We welcome men, women,
children (see below for age limits), aliens, teenagers, mythical
creatures, college students, grandparents, twins, aunts and uncles,
blue people, sasquatch, holiday characters, and all swamp people.
If you're unsure about whether or not you qualify, please contact
our eligibility department. Pets are not allowed.
How long is the race?
MAN vs MUD is a 5K (3.1 miles) obstacle course and mud run. This
super fun mud run is packed with slippery slides, challenging obstacles,
and muddy messes. This is the most fun you can have running! So
who’s going to win? You.... or the mud!?!
What is the cost?

Are there any competitive heats?
No. The event is all about having fun!
obstacles will there be?
MAN vs MUD will contain a number of different obstacles that are
designed to bring fun into the run. The obstacles are family-friendly
and can be done by just about anyone. View

Aug 24th to the 28th at the American West Heritage Center from 9
AM to 5 PM.
Each participant must sign for their packet. Packets
will not be released without individual signatures.Every
runner must provide a signed (hard copy) waiver to participate.
If you are picking up for a team member you must have their signed
waiver and a copy of the drivers license. If you are picking up
for a minor, the waiver must be signed by a legal guardian with
a copy of their drivers license.
Each participant that is running
in the race agrees and consents to a release waiver. Click below
to download and print the waiver so that you can bring it with you
to packet pick-up.
Day of packet pickup (for those that can't pick
up their packets in advance) and last minute registration will
take place the morning of the event.
Can I just be a cheerleader?
Of course! Come on out and witness the mud stomping. Spectators
are free. There will be great food, lots of fun, and plenty of people
to cheer on as your favorite mud lovers complete the MAN vs MUD
Will I need to sign a waiver?
Yes, upon registering you'll be required to agree to the release

How does the team race work?
Teams or groups of any size can participate. (There is no limit
to the team size) All members of the team or group run the entire
course and may help each other along the way. If you decide to run
ahead of your team, there will be a waiting area for faster team
members (before the final mud pit) where you will reunite as a team.
Can I run solo without being on a team?
Of course. But it's more fun with friends, so grab some friends
and come stomp the mud!
Is there an age limit?
We will not allow you to run if you are over the age of 101. Kids
between 10-14 must have an adult run with them during the entire
race. For children ages 3-11 we have an obstacle course called the
KIDS vs MUD where they can have just as much fun getting muddy.
What is KIDS vs MUD?
The KIDS vs MUD course is the kids obstacle course for children
ages 3-11. There is no specific time as it is open throughout the
day and children get unlimited entry to it. See the registration

Any suggestions on accommodations?
Yes, we are currently negotiating discount rates for our participants.
We will update this information as soon as we have the information.
What are the rules?
- All participants must follow course
- All participants understand that
this is not a normal 5K race, it is an extreme foot race through
rough terrain with obstacles, and fully understand the risks involved.
- Kids ages 10-14 must have an adult
run with them during the entire race.
- All photos taken by media or MAN
vs MUD Staff can be used to market or promote other MAN vs MUD
- All participants must complete and
sign a waiver of liability.
- MAN vs MUD is a non-refundable,
- No pets allowed.
- It is up to the participant to complete
each obstacle, if the participant does not feel they can complete
the race or obstacle it is their responsibility to bypass the
obstacle all together.
- It is the participant’s duty
to inform MAN vs MUD staff if they have been injured or hurt during
Will there be somewhere to store my stuff?
Yes, we will have a secure gear storage area available race morning
near the finish line where you can check your belongings while you
go and get dirty!
MAN vs MUD Safety:
The MAN vs MUD course is designed to ensure a lot of fun in a very
safe manner. Safety is our #1 priority. The biggest risk posed to
participants is tripping on uneven surfaces and running on varied
terrain. Participants assume all risks & medical expenses if
needed during or after the race. All participants will brief themselves
as to where the medical tent is located when they arrive for the
race. By participating you agree and consent to the terms, conditions,
and release waiver.
Will there be photos of the race?
Yes, we will have a professional photographer capturing all the
fun. Photos will be made available online.
Can I edit my info online?
Yes, if you created an account when you registered for the event.
If you did not create an account when you registered for the event,
you'll need to e-mail us at email@example.com.
Can I volunteer?
Yes, and even the mud needs help! If you or anyone you know is looking

for details. (We prefer that volunteers live within the Logan, Utah
and surrounding areas)
What if it rains?
The more rain the merrier!! MAN vs MUD will take place rain or shine!
What should I bring?
Your friends! All of them! It may also be a good idea to bring a
towel and a plastic bag to put your dirty clothes and shoes in.
There will be a way for you to clean off...so don't worry about
your car on the drive home.
